Job summary

UKnighted Recruitment, partnering with a design-focused architectural practice in Sydney, is seeking a Registered Architect to join its NSW studio. This hands-on role spans concept design through construction, with responsibilities across design, documentation and project delivery, working closely with consultants and clients.

Ideal candidates will hold NSW registration (or be eligible), have experience in Australian practice, and strong design development and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Current registration as an Architect in NSW, or eligible for registration.
• Experience working in an Australian architectural practice.
• Exposure to commercial, residential or community projects.
• Strong design development and technical documentation skills.
• Confidence coordinating with consultants and clients.
• Solid understanding of Australian codes and construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to architectural projects from concept design through to construction.
• Prepare and coordinate detailed architectural documentation.
• Develop design solutions that balance creativity, functionality and buildability.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Assist with planning approvals, regulatory requirements and project compliance.
• Resolve technical detailing and construction challenges.
• Participate in client meetings, design reviews and project coordination.
• Support project delivery to ensure design intent is maintained through construction.
