Mega Recruitment partners with a leading Tier 1 architecture and design practice in Sydney to appoint a Graduate Architect. The role targets candidates with 4+ years post-graduation experience, strong conceptual thinking and a passion for complex education projects.

You will collaborate with senior leaders, clients and consultants, contributing to project initiation, design development and delivery while growing through diverse responsibilities and flexible hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

A leading Tier 1 architecture and design practice is looking to appoint a Graduate of Architecture to join its Sydneystudio.

This opportunity will suit someone who has at least 4+ years experience, post graduation, is passionate about architecture and design and enjoys working on complex projects.

Educationexperience would be desirable, but this role is equally focused on finding a strong graduate— someone who can think conceptually, communicate ideas clearly, and contribute to high-quality project outcomes.

You will join a well-established team working across education projects, with the opportunity to be involved from the earliest stages of a project through to delivery.

In the role, you will work closely with senior leaders, clients, consultants and project teams.

This is a role with plenty of variety and visibility, ideally suited to someone who enjoys being involved in both the creative and strategic sides of architecture.

In this role, as a Graduate Architect, you will:

• Collaborate with a dynamic team to assist in project initiation, exploration, and design development. Your open mindset and creative thinking will contribute to innovative solutions that align with project goals.
• Contribute your fresh perspectives to the generation and refinement of design propositions. Your role is crucial in breathing life into concepts and translating them into tangible plans.
• Embrace diverse skills, learn from feedback, and document progress in your competency matrix.
• Be open to learning new software relevant to the tasks. Essential proficiency with BIM and CAD software will empower you to create accurate project representations.
• Have a willingness to learn and adapt to tools like Rhino/Grasshopper, or similar parametric software.

• Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork which is key to integrating your contributions seamlessly.

To be successful in this role, as a Graduate Architect, you will:

• Be able to work well with colleagues, consultants, and contractors to achieve project goals.
• Demonstrate clear communication Be effective in expressing ideas clearly through both verbal and written means.
• Create architectural concepts that meet client requirements, project goals, and building codes.
• Produce architectural drawings, models, and specifications using CAD software and relevant tools.
• Work with engineers, contractors, and other experts to incorporate structural, mechanical, and electrical systems into architectural designs.
• Have completed a Master of Architecture or equivalent qualification.
• Be proficient in Revit
• Bring 4+ years of post graduation experience in local Australian projects
