Job summary

Alzheimer’s Queensland is seeking an experienced community-services leader to manage and grow CHSP services across the West Moreton region. Based at Ipswich Multi Service Centre, you will oversee delivery, client engagement, financial and workforce performance, quality, and sustainable growth.

The role reports to the State Manager – Queensland & New South Wales and offers a competitive package including salary of $150,000+, 12% superannuation, salary packaging and a fully maintained vehicle for

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in community aged care, health, disability or another funded community service.
• Experience managing government-funded programs, preferably CHSP.
• Demonstrated responsibility for budgets, workforce performance and service outcomes.
• Proven ability to grow services and increase client participation.
• Experience leading and developing care teams.
• Strong governance, quality, compliance and risk-management capability.
• Commercial judgement and confidence using performance data to guide decisions.
• A visible, practical and accountable leadership style.
• Strong community engagement and stakeholder-management skills.
• A current driver’s licence, unrestricted working rights and the ability to travel throughout the region.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of CHSP community programs across West Moreton.
• Ensure clients have access to meaningful, personalised activities based on their interests, abilities and enjoyment.
• Lead and support care teams to deliver responsive, high-quality services.
• Oversee budgets, funded outputs, service utilisation and operational performance.
• Grow client participation and ensure available funding is used effectively.
• Strengthen referral pathways and build trusted community and government relationships.
• Ensure compliance with funding agreements, quality standards and reporting requirements.
• Monitor client outcomes, feedback, complaints and incidents.
• Improve systems, service efficiency and consistency.
• Work closely with Finance, People & Culture and Clinical Governance.
• Contribute to broader regional and organisational priorities
