Job summary

MPAU Sales is seeking a field-based Sales Engineer to manage Regional Victoria, combining account management with new business development. You will work with manufacturers, OEMs and industrial customers to deliver industrial automation solutions and meet revenue targets.

You will engage with engineers, maintenance teams and operations to deliver consultative, solution-based sales and build a strong pipeline across industrial sectors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical sales in industrial automation.
• Territory management and account development across a region.
• Strong relationship-building with engineers, maintenance and operations teams.
• Commercially driven with a track record of achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an established customer portfolio across Regional Victoria.
• Conduct approximately 12 customer visits per week across the territory.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within targeted industrial sectors.
• Build relationships with engineers, maintenance teams, operations managers and key decision-makers.
• Drive cross-selling and upselling across the automation portfolio.
• Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through effective opportunity management.
• Provide technical consultation and solution-based selling to customers.
• Collaborate with internal technical specialists and product experts to meet customer needs.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts and sales activity reporting.
• Achieve annual revenue targets and deliver territory growth.
