Job summary

Vulcan Steel, Australasia’s leading metals distributor and processor, is seeking an experienced Account Manager to cover the Western NSW region. You will sell aluminium and stainless steel products while building strong client relationships and delivering tailored solutions.

You will travel across Western NSW with some overnight stays, presenting data-driven sales proposals and collaborating with internal teams to maximise client value. A health and safety culture is in place.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales or steel manufacturing.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
• Willingness to travel across Western NSW with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with an existing client portfolio.
• Analyze industry data and current market trends.
• Prepare and present sales proposals to clients and the sales department.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve optimal client outcomes.
• Cross-sell Vulcan services to clients.
• Conduct cold calls to new prospects.
