Job summary

OTR in Melbourne seeks a Regional Manager to lead across a multi-site network, driving sales growth, EBITDA performance and cost optimisation while embedding a high-performing culture.

• Lead strategic transformation and operational improvement initiatives.
• Build partnerships across Central Operations, Safety, People & Culture, Supply Chain, Finance, and Customer Offer.
• Conduct regular store visits to assess performance and alignment with objectives.
• Champion a strong safety culture and compliance with policies and governance.
• Act as trusted advisor to the State Manager and provide leadership insights.
• Step into State Manager responsibilities when required to ensure continuity.

The Role:

Reporting to the State Manager, the Regional Manager plays a critical leadership role across the OTR and Reddy Express network, driving operational excellence, commercial performance and leadership capability across a multi-site retail portfolio. This role partners closely with Area Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver sales growth, optimise costs, embed strategic initiatives and support a safe, high-performing culture across the state.

You will provide:

• Support the State Manager and Area Managers to deliver sales, EBITDA and cost optimisation outcomes across the network.
• Analyse financial and operational performance to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Drive commercial performance through data-led decision making and operational discipline.
• Coach and develop Area Managers to strengthen leadership capability, commercial acumen and execution standards.
• Lead and influence the successful implementation of strategic, transformation and operational improvement initiatives.
• Build strong partnerships across Central Operations, Safety, People & Culture, Supply Chain, Finance, Customer Offer and other key business functions.
• Conduct regular store visits to assess performance, identify opportunities and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with company policies, governance frameworks and legislative requirements.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the State Manager, providing operational and people leadership insights.
• Step into State Manager responsibilities when required to ensure continuity of leadership and business performance.

About You:

• Proven experience in a senior multi-site retail leadership role, ideally across large and complex store networks.
• Demonstrated success delivering strong commercial outcomes, including sales growth, EBITDA performance and cost optimisation.
• Strong leadership capability with experience coaching, influencing and developing leaders.
• Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into practical business actions.
• Experience leading change, transformation and operational improvement initiatives.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation.
• Relevant qualifications in Business, Retail Management or a related discipline will be highly regarded.
