Rimfire Resources is seeking a Regional Manager to lead field operations and logistics across central and southern NSW. You will report to the Eastern Business Manager and oversee 6 direct reports while delivering client trials and objectives.

The role requires travel to regional offices and a mix of 60% office work and 40% in the field, including staff training and running a small field trial program.

The Role

A role has become available for a Regional Manager - Young to manage an area of the central business research unit, overseeing the field operations and logistics in the broadacre regions of central and southern NSW.

Reporting to the Eastern Business Manager, you will be responsible for managerial, technical and administrative areas of the unit's business performance. This includes working closely with your team of 6 direct reports to ensure delivery of clients and trial objectives. The research work is comprehensive and diverse covering a wide range of crops across residue, efficacy and breeding trials. It is estimated that 60% of your time would be in the office and 40% in the field, which would include training newer staff and running your own small field trial program.

There is a requirement to travel at regular intervals to nearby regional offices.

The Person

The successful person will have the following skills and attributes:

• Commercial business & people management experience.
• Agronomy knowledge and familiarity with crops grown in this geographic region.
• Ideally field trial (R&D) and logistics experience, with good attention to detail.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Agriculture/ Business /Commerce.
