Join a purpose-driven organisation committed to creating safe, secure and affordable housing for Australians in need. We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Regional Manager Housing Services to lead the delivery of high-quality tenancy and housing services across a diverse portfolio of social and affordable housing programs. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing housing operations within the region, ensuring exceptional service delivery, strong stakeholder engagement, regulatory compliance, and positive outcomes for tenants and communities. You will provide strategic and operational leadership to the housing team while driving service excellence across tenancy management, allocations, customer service, compliance, and community engagement. You will work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners, including government agencies, community organisations, housing providers, and local stakeholders, to ensure the successful delivery of housing services and support the growth of Mission Australia Housing's impact within the community.

  • Oversee the day-to-day delivery of tenancy and allocation services across the region
  • Monitor operational performance, tenancy outcomes and service delivery standards
  • Foster a positive, customer-focused culture that promotes accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team through values-based leadership
  • Support the implementation of operational policies, procedures and service improvements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, government agencies, community partners, housing providers and private sector stakeholders
  • Promote tenant participation and community connection initiatives and support strategies that connect tenants with additional services and support
  • Manage operational risks and contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements for success
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams within a housing, community services, social services or related environment
  • Tertiary qualifications in Leadership, Management, Community Services, Social Sciences, Humanities, Welfare or a related discipline
  • Experience within the social and affordable housing sector will be highly regarded
  • Experience driving operational performance, service delivery and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Understanding of NCAT and Tribunals
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities, risks and organisational change
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and partnership-building skills
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Driver’s licence and WWCC
