Job summary

BOQ Group is seeking an experienced Lending Regional Director to lead a network of Mobile Bankers across Queensland North and the Sunshine Coast, delivering sustainable portfolio growth and exceptional customer outcomes.

Reporting to the Head of Lending, you will translate strategic priorities into clear, actionable plans, strengthen new business acquisition, customer retention and lender capability, while upholding risk standards and fostering an inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in leading lending teams to growth and customer outcomes.
• Extensive experience in residential lending and credit submissions for PAYG and non-PAYG.
• Strong knowledge of Australian retail lending and risk management.
• Ability to translate strategy into actionable plans and coach teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and inspire a network of Mobile Bankers.
• Drive growth in home lending and opportunities in business lending, deposits and non-interest income.
• Use performance insights to identify trends and implement targeted strategies.
• Develop capability across business development, relationship management, customer engagement and complex credit submissions.
• Support recruitment, succession planning and talent development while maintaining risk standards.
