Job summary

The role focuses on financial performance, customer acquisition and retention, portfolio performance and people leadership, with a mandate to deliver a superior, relationship-led banking experience. You will champion change and transformation while maintaining risk discipline and strong execution.

Responsibilities

• Leading the overall financial and portfolio performance of the team, including revenue, cost management and portfolio outcomes.
• Driving customer acquisition and retention strategies in partnership with broader business leaders.
• Building, coaching and developing a high-performance sales and relationship banking team.
• Creating a highly collaborative culture across business banking and the wider organisation.
• Developing bankers’ commercial and industry knowledge to strengthen the quality of customer conversations.
• Coaching the team to identify broader customer needs and deliver whole-of-wallet banking solutions.
• Championing a strong customer-first culture and continually improving the customer and banker experience.
• Supporting and leading business transformation and change initiatives.
