Job summary

Westpac Group is seeking a Regional Bank Manager to lead four branches across Salamander Bay, Maitland, Raymond Terrace and Green Hills. You will be at the heart of the branch network, driving customer experiences and performance across locations.

You will provide hands-on leadership, coach your teams, and be accountable for customer, risk, operational and business outcomes while regularly traveling between branches. A branded fleet car is provided to the successful applicant.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience, ideally in retail banking or related field.
• Ability to coach, support and bring together teams across multiple locations.
• Experience taking accountability for risk, compliance, and customer experience.
• Experience delivering business outcomes and identifying growth opportunities.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills for challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Lead four branches (Salamander Bay, Maitland, Raymond Terrace, Green Hills) with hands-on leadership.
• Travel regularly between locations to oversee operations and customer service.
• Coach and support branch teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Accountability for risk, compliance, and overall business outcomes across the four sites.
