Job summary

yourtown is seeking an experienced In Work Support Consultant (Job Development Coach) to deliver tailored post-placement and ongoing support to participants within the Inclusive Employment Australia contract. The role covers the Wide Bay region and involves working with members and employers to provide proactive, practical support that promotes sustainable employment.

Based at Hervey Bay or Bundaberg, the position requires hands-on community engagement, region-wide travel to sites, flexible

Qualifications

• Experience in Employment Services or post-placement support.
• Strong emotional intelligence and relationship management.
• Ability to build genuine connections with young people.
• Strong administrative and record-keeping skills with high compliance.
• Understanding of challenges faced by young people living with disability.
• Focus on regional KPIs and working to 4, 12, 26, and 52 week outcomes.
• Unrestricted driver’s licence and willingness to travel to multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-work and post-placement support to members.
• Partner with employers to offer coaching and problem solving.
• Deliver regional support across Hervey Bay, Bundaberg and Kingaroy.
• Work on-site with members, flexible hours.
• Advocate for inclusive practices and support long-term success.
