Job summary

Opal HealthCare is seeking a hands-on Head Chef for a roving role across multiple sites in Greater Sydney and the Central West. You will deliver nutritious meals, lead kitchen teams, and ensure food safety compliance, while rotating to provide Head Chef coverage as needed.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm with travel between sites. A Cert IV in Commercial Cookery and Food Safety Supervisory Certification are essential, along with 5+ years of Head Chef experience in aged care or

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery is required.
• Food Safety Supervisory Certification is required.
• Minimum 5 years as Head Chef in aged care, hotels or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily meal service and special events across sites.
• Ensure full compliance with food safety standards and quality.
• Travel across Greater Sydney and Central West to coverHead Chef and Sous Chef coverage as needed.
