Opal HealthCare is seeking a hands-on Head Chef for a roving role across multiple sites in Greater Sydney and the Central West. You will deliver nutritious meals, lead kitchen teams, and ensure food safety compliance, while rotating to provide Head Chef coverage as needed.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm with travel between sites. A Cert IV in Commercial Cookery and Food Safety Supervisory Certification are essential, along with 5+ years of Head Chef experience in aged care or

About the role:

This is a hands-on Chef role requiring travel across Greater Sydney and the Central West, providing Head Chef and Sous Chef coverage as needed. You’ll bring a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery, Food Safety Supervisory Certification, and 5+ years’ Head Chef experience in aged care, hotels, or similar environments. Focused on quality and impact, you’ll create nutritious meals, deliver standout dining experiences, and ensure full compliance with food safety standards while overseeing daily meal services and special events.
