Job summary

Indigo People is seeking a Regional BDM for polyethylene & piping equipment across Victoria, SA, ACT, and Tasmania. You will drive growth in strategic accounts and uncover new opportunities with a hands-on, autonomous sales approach.

You’ll leverage technical and commercial experience to solve customer problems, build lasting relationships with decision makers, and lead the market with support from our technical and operations teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in technical sales, business development or account management.
• Strong knowledge of polyethylene components and related products.
• Background in polyethylene, piping, infrastructure, mining, utilities or related technical markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and convert new business opportunities.
• Grow, retain and expand existing customer accounts.
• Build relationships with key decision makers through meetings and site visits.
• Manage opportunities from prospecting through to negotiation, close and after-sales.
• Identify opportunities to increase product and account penetration.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and accurate forecasts.
• Work closely with technical, customer service, logistics and finance teams.
• Manage the regional portfolio against commercial targets.
• Travel regularly, including interstate.
