AgForce Queensland Farmers Limited is seeking a Regional Engagement & Membership Manager for the South West Queensland region. This field-based role focuses on growing and retaining members, engaging regional stakeholders, and ensuring regional priorities align with organisational direction.

The role may be based in Charleville, with a fully maintained company vehicle, laptop, and hybrid working options. Travel across South West Queensland and governance support will be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in stakeholder engagement, membership, or relationship management.
• Strong organisational and time management skills; ability to work autonomously.
• Experience supporting governance processes or committees (desirable).
• Financial and event management capability.
• Drivers licence and ability to travel throughout South West Queensland.

Responsibilities

About the Role

AgForce is seeking a highly motivated and relationship-driven Regional Engagement & Membership Manager to lead membership growth, engagement, and regional representation across our South West Region in Queensland. This role will ideally be based in Charleville though other locations will be considered for the right candidate.

This is a dynamic, field-based role where you will work closely with members, Regional AgForce Councils, and key stakeholders to deliver strong outcomes aligned with AgForce’s strategic priorities.

You will play a critical role in strengthening our member base, supporting governance, and ensuring the voice of regional producers is heard and represented.

Key Responsibilities

Membership Growth & Retention

Drive regional membership growth, retention, and engagement

Maintain a disciplined call cycle with consistent and meaningful member contact

Plan and deliver structured regional tours

Engage with non-members and convert new membership opportunities

Maintain accurate records in the membership database

Regional Governance & AgForce Council Support

Provide secretariat and meeting support to the South West Council

Support the Regional President with meeting preparation and follow-up

Act as a trusted advisor, aligning regional priorities with organisational direction

Manage regional budgets, including planning, tracking, and reporting

Deliver high-quality regional events

Identify and secure sponsorship and partnership opportunities

Strategic Contribution & Policy Alignment

Provide regional insights to inform strategy and policy development

Support communication and implementation of organisational priorities

Collaborate with internal teams to align regional and organisational objectives

Stakeholder & External Engagement

Represent AgForce with members, industry, government, and community stakeholders

Support media engagement in line with organisational guidelines

About You

You are a proactive and self-driven professional who thrives on building strong relationships and delivering outcomes in a regional environment.

You will bring:

Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, membership, or relationship management

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously

Experience supporting governance processes or committees (desirable)

Financial and event management capability

Drivers licence

Ability to travel throughout South West Queensland

Excellent communication and influencing skills

A genuine understanding of, or connection to, the rural sector
