Zscaler, Inc. is seeking a Regional Director for the APJ Public Sector to lead a high‑performing sales team in Melbourne.

This hybrid role focuses on building executive relationships, accelerating new business, and ensuring renewals while aligning with regional and global public sector strategies. You will drive comprehensive territory plans, coach senior Account Executives, and partner across Customer Success and Solutions Engineers to win complex deals.

Qualifications

• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging AI‑driven solutions in your domain.
• 8+ years of sales leadership experience leading enterprise teams within the Public Sector.
• Deep domain knowledge navigating government procurement, compliance and public sector environments.
• Proven track record in strategic account and territory planning, pipeline generation and meeting targets.

Responsibilities

• Hire, lead, and develop a high‑performing team of senior Account Executives to achieve sales targets and cultivate an exceptional team culture.
• Ensure outstanding customer and partner satisfaction to drive high retention, renewal rates, and long‑term loyalty.
• Develop and execute territory and account plans to drive pipeline growth across Public Sector accounts.
• Act as a player‑coach to shape complex deal strategies and establish executive connections.
• Maintain strong sales management discipline across forecasting, pipeline health, and sales processes.
