Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance in Sydney is seeking a Credit Control Manager to build and lead the Credit Control function for Australia and New Zealand. You will oversee billing and collections, collaborate with underwriting, our offshore partner Xceedance, Brokers, and MGAs to drive improvements and standardized processes.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years' relevant collections and credit control experience in personal and commercial insurance.
• Familiar with collections systems and strong MS Excel.
• Experience with Statement of Account and other collection methods.
• Excellent mathematical skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work with global teammates across timezones.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead development of process improvements across the Credit Control function.
• Lead resolution of collection issues, especially complex open balances.
• Interface with Xceedance on receivable issues and train teammates.
• Review aging reports and drive improvements.
• Oversee and improve Statement of Account and Collections processes with Brokers, Program Administrators, MGAs, and Xceedance.
• Manage global reporting relationships of collection results and other metrics.
