Job summary

Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) in Sydney is seeking a self-directed Credit Control Manager to oversee billing and collection activities for Australia and New Zealand. You'll develop uniform strategies and systems regionally, working with underwriting, our offshore partner Xceedance, brokers, program administrators, and MGAs to improve collection outcomes.

The role requires 8+ years in collections and credit control, strong Excel skills, and a collaborative, global mindset.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' collections and credit control experience in personal and commercial insurance.
• Experience with collections systems and tools; multinational experience is a plus.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and numerical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of process improvements across the Credit Control function.
• Resolve complex open balances and collection issues.
• Interface with Xceedance on receivable issues; train teammates as needed.
• Review aging reports to address negative trends and improve results.
• Oversee Statements of Account and Collections across Brokers, MGAs, and partners.
• Manage global reporting relationships for collection metrics.
