Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or equivalent experience.
• EPA licence for handling refrigerants or willingness to obtain one.
• Proven experience installing, servicing and repairing commercial and/or residential cooling systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems related to refrigeration equipment.
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and testing tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration and air conditioning systems for commercial and residential clients.
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot system malfunctions using diagnostic tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Conduct system commissioning and handover for newly installed equipment.
• Comply with safety regulations, environmental legislation and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of work, parts used and service times.
• Communicate effectively with clients and explain technical issues clearly.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet service schedules.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
