Job summary

Workfast is seeking an experienced Dozer Operator for our Recycling and Waste Management Team in New Chum, QLD. Competitive pay at $45.88 h/r + penalties and allowances, with Monday to Friday 6:00am–4:00pm and potential weekend work.

You will operate dozers, manage waste materials and work with a driven crew to ensure safe, efficient site operations. Applicants must have HR licence, pass pre-employment checks, and be capable of meeting production targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating Dozers in waste/recycling or similar environments.
• Experience using grapple/grab attachments and waste compactor tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate Dozers safely and efficiently in a recycling/waste environment.
• Sort, move and manage waste and recyclables.
• Work with stockpiles and face to maintain safety and productivity.
• Load and move materials while meeting production targets.
• Conduct daily pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance.
• Collaborate with supervisors and site personnel for smooth operations.
• Follow site policies and safety regulations.
• Assist with additional site duties as required.
