Job summary

The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) is seeking a Recruitment and Onboarding Administrator to support back-office recruitment and onboarding across the APS framework. You will administer processes in TechnologyOne and collaborate with AER and APS colleagues to deliver recruitment plans aligned with the schedule.

Responsibilities

• support managers to document role requirements
• advertise employment opportunities
• administer the AER’s online recruitment system
• liaise with other APS agencies and departments to facilitate merit lists being used
• prepare online application forms
• update applicants on the outcome of their applications with the AER
• prepare and release employment offers
• facilitate new starters’ onboarding and successful internal applicants’ movement within the AER
• monitor for, respond to and resolve recruitment, onboarding and organisation structure related queries with some complexity
• manage the AER’s establishment (i.e. positions, reporting lines and organisation charts/structure) in the AER’s human resource system
• advise applicants and managers about the APS employment framework and recruitment processes and systems
• be a collegiate partner with other AER and APS colleagues and representing the AER Human Resources team professionally
• draft standard operating procedures, user guides and templates
• support procurement processes including invoice management
• contribute to changes and improvements in recruitment services including system enhancements, documenting knowledge and drafting best practice recruitment materials.
