Job summary

The Australian Energy Regulator is seeking a Recruitment and Onboarding Administrator to support back-office recruitment and onboarding for the agency. You will apply knowledge of recruitment processes and the APS employment framework, working with stakeholders to deliver recruitment plans aligned with the agency's schedule.

Reporting to the Recruitment Team Leader, you will administer and facilitate outcomes through TechnologyOne and contribute improvements to recruitment practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Knowledge of the APS employment framework.
• Ability to work with stakeholders to deliver recruitment plans.
• Familiarity with recruitment systems and back-office operations.

Responsibilities

• Support managers to document role requirements.
• Advertise employment opportunities.
• Administer the APS online recruitment system.
• Liaise with APS agencies to facilitate merit lists.
• Update applicants on outcomes.
• Prepare and release offers.
• Facilitate onboarding and internal mobility.
• Respond to queries with some complexity.
• Manage establishment data in HR systems.
• Advise on APS processes and systems.
• Draft SOPs, user guides, and templates.
• Contribute to changes and improvements in recruitment services.
