Job summary

Workfast is seeking a Recruitment & Onboarding Administrator to join our Sydney team. This casual position offers an ASAP start with potential to go full-time in early 2027.

Pay is $45-$50 per hour + super, based on experience, with 38+ hours weekly until the end of 2026 and a path to full-time employment in 2027. Ideal candidates have experience in labour hire recruitment across civil, construction, rail, mining or manufacturing, and are comfortable with site visits and onboarding processes.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in labour hire administration or onboarding.
• Experience onboarding candidates to sites.
• Comfortable with site drop-ins on major civil and infrastructure sites.
• Proven track record managing multiple roles/candidates.
• Excellent admin and organisational skills.
• Team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Onboard workers to Workfast recruitment system.
• Drop off PPE to sites.
• Screen resumes, qualifications and experience.
• Interview candidates.
• Carry out reference checks, organise medicals, training and inductions.
• Ensure workers are compliant before going to site; onboarding, medicals, inductions.
• Maintain a database of candidates.

Ideal candidates will have a proven background and experienced within the labour hire and blue collar recruitment sector working across industries such as civil, construction, rail, mining or manufacturing.

About you

• At least 1 years experience in a labour hire administration or onboarding position
• Experience with onboarding candidates to sites
• Comfortable doing site drop ins on major civil and infrastructure sites
• Proven track record with managing multiple roles and candidates
• Excellent administration and organisational skills
• Willing team player who can work with our team to drive Workfast to further success
• Proactive and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
