Job summary

Carma is seeking a Reconditioning Quality Inspector (Automotive) in Sydney's St Peters site. You will own quality across cosmetic repairs, mentor technicians, and lead the toughest repairs to showcase top-tier craftsmanship while maintaining safe, efficient workshop operations.

Based in our Sydney site, you’ll thrive in a high-volume environment, ensure timely turns, and uphold exacting standards with a can-do attitude and clean NSW license.

Qualifications

• Solid multi-trade experience across cosmetic repairs (wheels, paint, tint, glass, or trim) in a high-volume setting.
• You are passionate about mentoring and teaching others.
• You have an uncompromising eye for detail and high standards.
• You can handle a busy, dynamic workshop with changing priorities.
• You have a clean NSW driver's license and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Set the standard: Own quality across wheels, paint touch-ups, upholstery, tint, glass, and interior polish.
• Coach & certify: Guide technicians, assess their competency and run regular quality checks.
• Lead on the tools: Tackle the toughest repairs alongside the crew to showcase top-tier craftsmanship.
• Keep it moving: Ensure work hits production turnaround times without cutting corners on finish or safety.
• Take pride: Run a safe, spotless workshop and treat every vehicle like your own.
