Job summary

Carma in Sydney is seeking a Pre Delivery Inspection Specialist to act as the final quality inspector before handover. You’ll verify post-production vehicles meet reconditioning standards, check that all accessories, documents and keys are accounted for, and record details in our systems.

You’ll work on a brand new Granville site, with parking and transit nearby, comfortable using tech (Apple devices), and you’ll join a growing team focused on quality and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Final Quality Checkpoint: perform inspections on post-production vehicles to ensure top quality.

Join Carma as a Pre Delivery Inspection Specialist and serve as the final quality inspector before a car reaches its new owner. In this role, you will be the expert inspecting post-production vehicles to ensure all reconditioning work meets Carma’s highest quality benchmarks and that every accessory, document, and key is accounted for prior to customer handover.

What you'll be doing?

• Final Quality Checkpoint: Carry out meticulous final inspections on post-production vehicles, verifying that all bodywork, mechanical reconditioning, and detailing meet Carma’s pristine handover standards.
• Completeness & Audit: Ensure nothing is missing before the vehicle is handed to the customer - confirming keys, logbooks, owner manuals, and anything to ensure a smooth handover.
• Test every feature: Make sure all vehicle functions (windows, locks, infotainment systems, you name it) are working just as they should.
• Record with precision: Log every detail accurately in our systems to ensure each car meets Carma standards.
• Process perfectionist: Work through our step-by-step procedures with precision, helping keep cars, workflows, and the team running smoothly.
• Support: Support the wider automotive production team moving cars around, washing cars and general tasks as required.

Okay, let’s talk about you:

• You have some experience working in an automotive environment, whether it is within a workshop, retail, or insurance.
• You have an interest in cars - or are keen to learn more.
• You’re comfortable using tech (especially Apple products) and can get the hang of new systems quickly.
• You’re open to learning new ways of doing things.
• You like to work on your feet, with different priorities everyday - juggle multiple things at once doesn't bother you.
• You’ve got an eye for detail and take pride in high-quality work.
• You have a valid NSW drivers licence.

In this role you’ll be based in our brand new Granville site, with room for parking and train/ bus stops nearby.
