Job summary

Carma is seeking a Senior Wheel Technician at our Sydney site. You will own quality across wheels, paint touch-ups, tint, glass and interior polish while mentoring restoration technicians and setting the benchmark for craftsmanship.

Based in St Peters, Sydney, you’ll join a fast-paced, collaborative team with parking and transit access nearby. You must have multi-trade cosmetic repair experience and a strong eye for detail to thrive in this high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• Experience across cosmetic repairs (wheels, paint, tint, glass or trim) in a high-volume workshop.
• Ability to mentor and coach other technicians.
• Uncompromising eye for detail and high quality standards.
• Capable of thriving in a busy, changing workshop environment.
• Clean NSW driver’s license and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Set the standard for cosmetic quality across wheels, paint touch-ups, tint, glass and interior polish.
• Coach and certify technicians; assess competency and perform quality checks.
• Lead on repairs, tackling the toughest tasks to showcase craftsmanship.
• Ensure work meets production turnaround times without compromising finish or safety.
• Maintain a safe, spotless workshop and treat every vehicle with care.

• Coach & certify: Guide technicians, assess their competency and run regular quality checks.
• Lead on the tools: Tackle the toughest repairs alongside the crew to showcase top-tier craftsmanship.
• Keep it moving: Ensure work hits production turnaround times without cutting corners on finish or safety.
• Take pride: Run a safe, spotless workshop and treat every vehicle like your own.

In this role you’ll be based in our St Peters, Sydney site, with room for parking and train/ bus stops nearby.

• You have solid multi-trade experience across cosmetic repairs (wheels, paint, tint, glass, or trim) in a high-volume setting.
• You are passionate about mentoring and teaching others.
• You have an uncompromising eye for detail and high standards.
• You can handle a busy, dynamic workshop with changing priorities.
• You have a clean NSW driver’s license and a can-do attitude!
