YHA Australia is seeking Receptionists or Front Desk Extraordinaires to join the Sydney Harbour team. In this role you will greet guests, handle check-ins and check-outs, and provide knowledgeable local recommendations to ensure a welcoming stay.

The position requires friendly energy, strong communication, reliable rostering for 24/7 shifts, weekends and public holidays, and full working rights. Join a national network of affordable, purpose-driven hospitality across Australia.

About the role: We are seeking Receptionists or Front Desk Extraordinaires to join the Team at Sydney Harbour. This role involves helping us create a friendly and cheerful atmosphere, responding to guest inquiries with knowledgeable local advice and recommendations, managing efficient check-ins and check-outs.

What are we looking for:

Previous experience in front desk, reception or customer service in an accommodation setting

Genuine happy and positive energy to bring to our team and our guests

Good time management skills and commitment to following policies and procedures to ensure the safety of our guests and team

Flexible availability 24/7 roster including night shifts, weekends and public holidays

Excellent communication skills verbal and written

Full working rights with no restrictions
