We are seeking a skilled and experienced Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team at Melbourne Central Conveyancing and legal Pty Ltd in Bairnsdale, VIC. As a full-time position, this role will involve providing high-quality conveyancing services and administrative support to our growing legal practice.

What you’ll be doing
  • Preparing and processing conveyancing documentation for residential and commercial property transactions
  • Conducting title searches, liaising with relevant authorities and stakeholders
  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients throughout the conveyancing process
  • Maintaining accurate records and electronic files
  • Assisting with general administrative duties, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and providing clerical support
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies
What we’re looking for
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years' experience as a Conveyancer, OR a minimum of 2 years' experience in an Administrative role (preferably within the legal/conveyancing industry
  • Strong understanding of conveyancing procedures, legal terminology, and relevant legislation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members
  • Demonstrated experience in providing high-quality customer service and administrative support
  • Proficient in using legal software, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant computer programs
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
