Megan Middleton Conveyancing in Byron Bay is seeking a Client Services & Compliance Administrator to join the team 4–5 days per week. This role is a busy, client-facing position supporting clients from onboarding to settlement while keeping the administrative and compliance aspects running smoothly.
You will be the first point of contact, must be warm and patient, and comfortable using a variety of digital forms and portals. Full training provided in conveyancing processes.

This is a varied, client dealing role where you will support clients throughout their conveyancing journey, from onboarding to settlement, while helping to keep the administrative and compliance side of each matter running smoothly. You will be the first point of contact for many clients, so being warm, patient and confident in your communication is important.
Key responsibilities
Opening new client files and preparing documentation
Assisting clients with electronic forms, digital signing and online systems
Guiding clients through Verification of Identity (VOI) requirements
Managing AML/CTF compliance and client due diligence processes
Carrying out simple marketing on Facebook and instagram
Following up outstanding documentation and maintaining accurate file records
Liaising with clients, real estate agents, brokers, banks and solicitors
Providing phone and email support to clients in a friendly and professional manner
Providing general administrative support to the conveyancing team
Assisting clients with basic technical issues relating to online forms, portals and document signing
Helping the team with day-to-day tasks and contributing to a positive office environment
About you
Warm, friendly and confident communicating with clients
Patient and supportive when assisting people who are not tech-savvy
Comfortable using computers and able to learn new systems quickly
Able to troubleshoot basic IT, software and online access issues independently
Highly organised, reliable and attentive to detail
Able to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
Proactive and willing to take initiative
A genuine team player who enjoys helping others
Professional, approachable and proud of the work they do
Experience in conveyancing, legal administration or a professional office environment is highly regarded. However, we are very open to training the right person who has a positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
