Job summary

Penske Transportation Group in Melbourne is seeking a customer-focused receptionist to be the welcoming face of the branch. You will support customers, service and parts teams, and branch operations while ensuring day-to-day administration runs smoothly.

You will manage reception duties, provide administrative support, assist with accounts processes, and collaborate with service and parts teams to deliver exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a receptionist, administration or customer service role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and organisational capability.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to support multiple teams.
• Strong customer service focus and commitment to delivering quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase orders and support supplier transactions.

• Assist with stocktake activities and inventory administration.
• Process accounts payable invoices, banking and petty cash transactions.
• Prepare and distribute branch reports as required.
