Job summary

Synergy, Western Australia’s leading energy provider, is seeking a Data Scientist for a 12 month fixed-term role in the Technology and Business Services team, based at Central Park, Perth. You will develop data-driven solutions addressing real-time operational challenges and deliver insights to improve DER and system performance.

Qualifications

• Four years’ experience in BI, analytics or data science.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Cross-functional capability and ability to work in a DevOps environment.
• Experience accessing, manipulating and transforming data from multiple sources.
• Experience in DER systems applications or the energy utilities industry.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support advanced analytics, real-time data pipelines and reporting solutions.
• Develop and optimise data transformation assets and models to deliver actionable insights.
• Partner with analytics teams and stakeholders to ensure fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Maintain data quality, governance and management standards.
• Lead innovation across analytics processes and software assets.
