Job summary

TL Consulting Group in Sydney is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to provide the MD and CEO with timely, accurate real-time insights. Working within the BI & PO function, you will transform raw transactional data into dependable answers via SQL querying and ad-hoc reporting.

You will validate logic, document data definitions, and collaborate with engineering to lift reporting maturity. This is a Sydney-based, onsite role requiring five days in the office.

Qualifications

• Very strong SQL experience with hands-on expertise.
• Proven ability to write and untangle complex joins.
• Experience working with transactional data.

Responsibilities

• Respond to ad-hoc data and reporting requests from the MD, CEO and senior stakeholders.
• Provide real-time and near-real-time insights to support executive decision-making.
• Write, optimise and maintain complex SQL queries across transactional data.
• Validate SQL code and reconcile data discrepancies to source.
• Consolidate and document business logic and data context for consistent reporting.
• Move ad-hoc reports into the Databricks reporting suite and lift reporting maturity.
