Job summary

Gough Recruitment is seeking ambitious individuals to join our real estate sales team in Newcastle, offering hands-on exposure to all aspects of the sales process and a base plus commissions structure. You’ll gain practical experience working alongside experienced sales agents to build your skills and client network.

You will develop relationships with buyers and sellers, assist with appraisals and listing presentations, and participate in open homes while benefiting from training and ongoing

Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Registration and real estate licence are essential.
• Genuine passion for property and a desire to build a career in sales.
• Confident communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Motivated by targets, results and achieving goals.
• Professional, organised and eager to learn.
• A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
• Previous real estate sales experience will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting and generating new business opportunities
• Building relationships with buyers, sellers and local residents
• Assisting with property appraisals and listing presentations
• Conducting open homes and following up with prospective buyers
• Managing buyer enquiries and maintaining client relationships
• Assisting with property marketing campaigns and sales negotiations
• Developing your knowledge of the Upper Hunter property market
• Learning how to win listings, negotiate deals and achieve sales targets
