Job summary

Hotel Federal in Launceston, TAS, is seeking a Range Supervisor to support the Venue Operations Manager with daily operations and to lead the team on shift, delivering a fun, welcoming guest experience across The Range.

You'll bring energy, initiative and a hands-on approach, with hospitality, food and beverage, or supervisory experience, and be able to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or a supervisory role.
• Tasmanian RSA and RCG or ability to obtain before commencement.
• Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Check or willingness to obtain.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

About the Candidate

You'll be a natural people person with strong customer service skills and the confidence to lead a team in a busy, guest-focused environment. You'll bring energy, initiative and a hands-on approach, along with experience in hospitality, food and beverage, or a similar supervisory role.

Additionally, you'll ideally bring:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
• A current Tasmanian RSA and RCG, or ability to obtain them prior to commencement
• A current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Check, or willingness to obtain one
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
• Bar, barista or food and beverage experience
• Due to the requirement to hold an RCG for this position, applicants must be aged 18 years of age or over.
