Job summary

DT Infrastructure is seeking a motivated Site Engineer to support the QTMP Ormeau Maintenance Facility Project on the Gold Coast. The role focuses on engineering, technical, and quality assurance across all delivery phases, with hands‑on field involvement in track construction and rail infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has track works delivery experience, problem solving in the field, and the ability to interpret designs, verify as‑built assets and assist with handover to clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering Degree required.
• Member of Engineers Australia or eligible to apply.
• Minimum of 2 years’ engineering experience in the construction industry.
• Primavera P6 scheduling software is desirable.
• Expert Estimation software is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee construction engineering activities to ensure safety, schedule, budget and quality.
• Provide technical expertise across all project phases, including design, construction methods and temporary works.
• Monitor progress, prepare reports, manage programs, and assist with subcontractor claims and budget reporting.
• Administer Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and QA/QC processes; address non‑conformances.
• Build relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors to support project delivery and future opportunities.
• Support risk management, maintain project records and ensure regulatory compliance.
