Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services Pty is recruiting an electrical engineer to deliver signalling power and LV/ELV design for rail projects in Perth. You will produce design documentation and support construction teams through surveys, reviews and technical resolutions.

The role requires a bachelor in electrical engineering and 5+ years in electrical infrastructure design, with knowledge of Australian rail standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
5+ years designing electrical infrastructure, LV/ELV or signalling power.
Knowledge of Australian rail environments and standards (AS/NZS 3000, AS/RISSB, PTA WA).

Responsibilities

Prepare and review power calculations, drawings, models, specifications and technical reports.
Coordinate signalling, electrical, communications, civil and structural design interfaces.
Conduct inspections, surveys, constructability checks and interdisciplinary reviews.
Apply Safety in Design, WHS, environmental and ISO 9001 quality requirements.
Assess technical risks, develop value improvements and support procurement and construction.
Clarify requirements and resolve design queries with project stakeholders.
