Egis is seeking a Principal Signalling Design Engineer to join the Railways and Systems team in Australia and New Zealand. You will lead the independent design review, verification and principles verification of conventional signalling designs across projects nationwide.

Ideal candidates bring 12 years in railway signalling, RPEQ registration, QR/ARTC competencies, and IRSE/ Engineers Australia accreditation, plus strong leadership and client‑facing skills to deliver high‑quality signalling

Formación

• 12 years’ experience in railway signalling with specialist knowledge of conventional signal design.
• RPEQ registration and QR/ARTC competencies.
• Irse/Engineers Australia accreditation preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of signal designers for medium to major projects and tenders.
• Manage design approvals on packages, reports and management plans.
• Design, check, and verify signalling documentation and systems.
• Provide technical advice to clients and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior signalling engineers and project engineers.
