Job summary

CBH Group in Western Australia is seeking a Lead - Rail Performance to strengthen the reliability and efficiency of our rail network, moving WA grain from sites to port and beyond.

You will collaborate with scheduling, planning, operations, rail operators and infrastructure partners, challenging assumptions and delivering practical improvements to network outcomes.

This role values hands-on problem solving, attention to detail and clear communication to influence cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in rail logistics, scheduling, planning.
• Understanding of operational performance and constraints.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and data-driven discussions.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate discussions with internal teams, rail operators and infrastructure partners to support reliable rail performance.
• Review the operator’s rail schedules, operational constraints and weekly rail orders to help align capacity with CBH’s demand.
• Monitor performance against the order and agreed schedule, investigate losses and share insights that support practical improvements.
• Provide rail operations advice to schedulers, planners and project teams to support safe and efficient network outcomes.
• Contribute to rail performance KPIs, reporting, workshops and improvement initiatives across the logistics network.
