Job summary

CBH, a leading WA grain co‑operative, is seeking an analytically focused role to support performance, administration and risk management of CBH Grain’s pools and grower-risk products. You will maintain accurate trading positions across a diverse portfolio and help execute risk strategies.

This fixed-term position runs to 30 September 2027. You will review processes, improve controls, and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the grain supply chain.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in finance, economics or related discipline.
• Experience in financial markets, trading operations or risk management.
• Exposure to commodity, derivative or FX markets.
• Strong modelling, analytical and problem-solving skills; advanced computer literacy.
• Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
• Exposure to grain industry or agricultural commodities is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate pool and risk management product positions to support reporting, profit and loss analysis and risk management decisions.
• Support the development and execution of effective risk management strategies across the product suite.
• Review product processes and work instructions, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy and controls.
• Contribute to the ongoing governance of CBH Grain's pools and grower risk management products.
