Job summary

Pacific National, Australia’s largest private rail freight operator, is seeking a proactive Service Delivery Controller in North Sydney. You will coordinate live train services, crews and assets, and respond to real-time changes to keep freight moving.

No rail experience is required as full training is provided. You’ll join a fast-paced control function with a rotating 12‑hour lifestyle roster and robust training.

Qualifications

• Experience in coordination, scheduling, logistics or another fast‑paced environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to prioritise under pressure.
• Clear communication and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Monitor live train services and support safe, efficient delivery of schedules.
• Respond to disruptions and minimise impacts on service delivery.
• Coordinate train crews and assets to meet changing requirements.
• Provide timely, accurate information to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Maintain operational systems and work with network providers to stay aligned with the plan.
