Job summary

Pacific National is seeking a Workforce Coordinator for a 12-month maximum term contract based in North Sydney. You will coordinate the daily allocation of crew and equipment across Australia’s rail network, supporting safe and efficient freight movement.

No prior rail experience is required as full training and ongoing support are provided to help you learn rostering systems and operational processes quickly.

Qualifications

• No rail experience required; will receive full training.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily allocation of crew and equipment across the network.
• Maintain and update rosters; adapt to changing operational needs.
• Work with internal teams to position people and assets correctly.
• Monitor operations and help resolve disruptions to keep freight moving.
