Pacific National is seeking a Supervisor for Coppabella to lead frontline train crews and oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable service delivery while fostering a positive team culture.

The role sits with the Queensland Coal team in Coppabella, offering opportunities to lead safety initiatives, manage rostering, and develop staff within a national rail network.

Qualifications

• Full Australian working rights.
• Leadership experience in transport, logistics, mining, rail or heavy industry.
• Strong communication and people management skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety leadership.
• Experience managing employee relations and workplace matters.
• Ability to work flexibly to support operational requirements.
• Rail industry experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise safety in every moment, safely every day.
• Lead and promote safety initiatives and compliance across operations.
• Manage train crew performance, rostering and operational requirements.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members, including onboarding new drivers.
• Support incident management and workplace issue resolution.
• Collaborate with planning and service delivery teams to achieve operational outcomes.
