Pacific National is seeking a experienced Supervisor to lead frontline train crews within the QLD Coal North network, based in Sarina. You will drive safe, efficient, reliable service delivery while fostering a high-performance team culture across Sarina and the broader Coal North region.

Qualifications

• Full Australian working rights.
• Leadership experience in transport, logistics, mining, rail or heavy industry.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Commitment to creating and maintaining a safe workplace.
• Experience managing employee relations and workplace issues.
• Rail industry experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise safety in every moment, safely every day.
• Lead safety, compliance and HSE initiatives across operations.
• Manage train crew performance, rostering and day-to-day requirements.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members to build capability and engagement.
• Support onboarding and training of new drivers and operational staff.
• Manage workplace issues, investigations and incident response activities.
• Collaborate with planning and service delivery teams to optimise outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement and positive cultural change within the workforce.
