Pacific National is seeking a Train Crew Development Specialist to lead hands-on and classroom training at the Coppabella depot. You will assess competency, plan training, and mentor crew to align with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mainline or Mentor Driver.
• Strong track record of safe locomotive operations.
• Current Cert IV in Train Driving and TA&E Certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritise and deliver compliant technical driver training.
• Train, assess and mentor train crew to meet Rail Safety Worker competency requirements.
• Develop and manage individual training plans aligned to operational needs.
• Ensure competencies, assessments, currency and records are completed on time.
• Work closely with Operational Leaders and Training Specialists.
• Promote a strong safety culture and knowledge‑sharing environment.
