Job summary

Aurizon in Gracemere is seeking an experienced rail maintenance leader to drive capability, safety, and delivery of capital renewal and planned maintenance across the Central Queensland Coal Network.

You will lead and develop a multi-skilled team, embed the 'I Know Safe, I Choose Safe' culture, and partner with supervisors to deliver maintenance programs on time and within budget. This role values collaborative leadership and safe outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing and implementing maintenance strategies.
• High level of financial, cost control and budgetary experience.
• Proven experience in managing and developing teams.
• High level of interpersonal, both written and verbal, consultation and negotiation skills.
• Incident management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital renewal and planned maintenance and inspections.
• Embed a positive safety culture and leadership across teams.
• Manage incident response and derailment considerations.
• Develop and support a multi-skilled/trade workforce.
• Prepare and monitor budgets with cost control measures.
• Lead and develop safety culture across the network.
