Job summary

CPB Contractors is seeking a motivated Planner to support the planning function on a major rail infrastructure project. You will work closely with engineers and site teams to learn and apply scheduling techniques and project controls.

This full‑time, office and site‑based role offers exposure to construction programmes, progress tracking and reporting, with guidance to develop technical capabilities and long‑term career prospects within major infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in construction, civil engineering, rail, building or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of construction programmes and scheduling software.
• Genuine interest in project planning and maintaining schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update construction programmes using Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Monitor progress by gathering site information and updating programmes.
• Prepare progress reports, schedule updates and performance tracking.
