Job summary

The Public Transport Authority (PTA) seeks an experienced Health Management Officer to apply clinical expertise in a broader organisational setting, safeguarding the wellbeing, safety and performance of a large workforce.

You will lead health initiatives, partner with internal and external providers, and contribute to policy development and strategic health priorities across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration and contemporary clinical experience.
• Ability to assess complex clinical queries within government and regulatory contexts.
• Knowledge of workplace health, wellbeing strategies and evidence-based practices.
• Experience developing and delivering health and wellbeing programs with outcomes evaluation.
• Ability to interpret health information and support informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Peer Supporter Program.
• Analyse health data and performance indicators to inform policy and priorities.
• Support compliance with legislation and industry standards.
• Provide health-related advice across the PTA and engage with stakeholders.
