Job summary

WorkPac is seeking an EHS Coordinator to provide day-to-day Environment, Health & Safety support across major rail projects and operational sites. You will help ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company standards, delivering site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings.

With a minimum of 5 years in EHS roles and a Diploma or Degree in WHS/EHS, you will drive risk assessments, audits and contractor oversight, contributing to a proactive safety culture across diverse rail

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years experience in an EHS, WHS or Safety role.
Experience in civil, construction, rail or infrastructure industries.
Strong knowledge of WHS legislation.
Understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
Experience with risk assessments, incident investigations, audits and inspections.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work autonomously and take a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
Positive, approachable attitude with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day EHS support across major rail projects and sites, helping ensure WHS compliance.
Assist with site inspections, audits and assurance activities, and support hazard identification and risk assessments.
Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
Monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance.
Drive a positive safety culture and ensure EHS requirements are implemented across the business.
