Job summary

WorkPac Group is seeking an EHS Coordinator to support day-to-day Environment, Health & Safety across major rail projects and sites, ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and company standards. You will conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and assist with incident investigations, inductions and safety briefings.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years experience in an EHS, WHS or Safety role.
Diploma or Degree in WHS, EHS or a related discipline.
Experience in civil, construction, rail or infrastructure industries.
Strong knowledge of WHS legislation.
Understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
Experience with risk assessments, incident investigations, audits and inspections.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Autonomous, proactive and solution-focused.
Positive, approachable with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day Environment, Health & Safety support across major rail projects and sites.
Assist with site inspections, audits and assurance activities, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
Promote a positive safety culture with project teams and contractors.
